Some great news to report back. The Costa Coffee drive through on Queens road has had the final design tweaks made, to ensure the riverside walk is of the high quality sheffield expects. We thank our members, supporters, council staff and the developer for helping us reach this positive conclusion.

We expect building work to start within the next few months. The new 90m of River Sheaf Walk will unlock a total of 200m of pathway. The adjacent section is mothballed behind Big Yellow Box and Travis Perkins yard. This has been sat waiting since 2008! Within this area is also a magnificent stepped weir. Once the Costa Coffee is built, we will be working to reopen the full section. Have a look at the map included for the full vision. Section by section, we will work to put the Sheaf back into Sheffield!
